(May 1 & 2) Twice a year, downtown Austin is a convergence of creativity at The Pecan Street Festival on 6th street- with tons of art, vendors, food and entertainment. There’s plenty of fun for kids, as pint-sized potential Picassos can work on their own masterpiece at the Capital One Bank Children’s Art Tent, others to be entertained by magicians, trick roping, fire-eating and juggling.
