Noteworthy achievements
Piloting Science 4/5 at our District Meet - we had 2 top 6 finishers and would have had a state contender.
Piloting On-Site Drawing 4/5 at our District Meet - We had 3 top 10 finishers and 1 would have been a state contender.

The total number of contestant bodies on campus was 437 with 806 event entries. Brentwood had 43 students in 96 events.

@holyfamilycsatx won as they had 93 students in 163 events, which gave them an advantage in earning points. ...

The Boys opened the meet by taking Gold in the 200 medley relay. This was the first time Brentwood has swam a boys relay in the history of the school. Reid Alexander, Gus Ebner, Gavin Edmondson, and Evan Berger set the bar high for the school record board. The Boys 200 free relay took silver later in the meet barely getting edged out by Veritas. Both of the relays advance to the state round on February 14.

The Girls 200 free relay improved upon their school record and just missed out on advancing the 400 free relay to state.

Individually, Jennifer Montier advanced to State by taking first place in the 100 fly and the 100 back. Reid Alexander advanced to state in the 200 free and the 100 fly with two second place finishes. Gus Ebner advanced to state with a third place finish in the 50 freestyle. His 4th place finish in the 100 breaststroke will likely get the call up to state by the end of the week once the final regional meet is complete. Gavin Edmondson will also likely get a call up to state for his 4th place finish in the 100 fly. ...
