Children and adults can experience the magic of the performing arts at ASO Tuneful Tales (formerly Children’s Day Art Park), held June – July at Austin Public Libraries. This series of free concerts and engaging arts experiences for families of young children extended beyond the new Central Library to seven additional branch locations in 2023. Presentations feature ASO chamber music ensembles in collaboration with local artists to bring original children’s tales to life through music and narration. Performances are accompanied by storytelling, arts activities, and an interactive percussion center as well as an Instrument Petting Zoo presented by Strait Music.
Please check back for Summer 2024 dates and locations.
Made possible by the Seawell Elam Foundation and Blue Bell Creameries, L.P.
