The Round Rock Express released its 2014 promotional and events schedule, highlighted by the return of Bud Light Friday Fireworks and Alumni Weekend, which culminates with Jackie Moore’s induction into the newly formed Express Hall of Fame.
The 2014 promotional schedule kicks off opening day, April 3, with a commemorative 15th season medallion and postgame fireworks. The celebration continues throughout the weekend with a handful of giveaways and the first of four St. David’s postgame concerts, presented by Dell, and featuring Bob Schneider on Saturday, April 5. The Express will again feature a different promotion for each night of the week. Every Sunday is H-E-B Kids Day; Mondays are $1 hot dog and soda nights; Tuesdays feature half-priced tickets; Wednesdays are your chance to hit it big with Winning Wednesdays presented by Texas Lottery, plus guests can help Strike Out Hunger by bringing two H-E-B branded canned goods in exchange for a lawn ticket; Original Thirsty Thursdays are back with discounted beer specials and $1 sodas; Fridays mean Bud Light Friday Fireworks following home games; and Saturdays at the ballpark will feature special giveaways and postgame concerts.
The St. David’s Postgame Concert Series showcases Bob Schneider April 5, Dale Watson May 3, the Spazmatics July 19 and country star Jesse Dayton will close out this year’s performances on August 16. The postgame concert is included with the price of a game ticket.
