Camp Wilderness Ridge is an independent, non-denominational Christian summer camp and retreat center located in the heart of the Lost Pines of Central Texas. CWR is a member in good standing of Christian Camping and Conference Association.
Our Mission
Camp Wilderness Ridge exists to change the world through the leadership of REAL men.
Our mission is four-fold:
– Training boys to be REAL men
– Training men to be leaders
– Sharing the Gospel
– Providing an affordable wilderness experience.
REAL stands for:
– Reproducing Disciples (Matt 28:18-20)
– Esteeming God Above All (Mark 12:30)
– Announcing the Good News (Luke 24:46-47)
– Living for Others (Mark 10:45)
Summer Camp
Summer Camp is a fast-paced outdoor adventure experience designed to develop leadership, teamwork, service, responsibility, and trustworthiness in your son. These ideals are woven into daily camp activities. A Bible-based perspective and a focus on servant-leadership makes campers stand out among their peers. Challenge activities like our high ropes course and zip line encourage campers to experience the exhilaration of overcoming fear.
