Re: Cancer (Regarding Cancer), a nonprofit organization that provides education, resources and support for those impacted by cancer, will host their annual 20 Colors / 20 Hours indoor cycling fundraiser on Feb. 4-5, 2017. The event is a relay-styled fundraiser split into one-hour legs for 20 hours. Each hour represents one of the 20 colors of cancer. Participants ride for the color of cancer they choose to represent. The fundraiser aims to unite the different cancer colors and support each in its own right.

Re: Cancer’s fundraising goal of $60,000 will go toward volunteer training and peer to peer matching. A portion of the proceeds will provide fleece blankets, knitted caps and pillows to patients undergoing chemotherapy.

“This fundraiser is a fun way for the Austin community to come together and help those impacted by cancer,” says Linda Richards, program director of Re: Cancer. “Almost everyone knows someone affected by cancer, and the money we will raise will allow us to expand our resources to support more people.”

Re: Cancer encourages team participation and early signup to reserve an hour and pick a color. The registration is $50 for adults and $25 for students.
