Easter Seals Central Texas opened its new LIFE Center on Nov. 18 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The center will support children and adults with disabilities on their pathway to independence.
The LIFE Center brings essential services and programs under one roof:
- Spinal and Neuro Recovery Program – An intensive, exercise-based program to assist those with spinal cord injuries achieve personal goals of independence and mobility, live a healthy and active life, and gain greater confidence.
- Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility – Skilled team of licensed professionals serving clients aged 3 to 21, addressing a variety of medical diagnoses and disabilities through occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and audiology.
- Fit Ability Program – A fitness center with wheelchair-accessible fitness equipment and a certified fitness specialist.
Tod Marvin, President and CEO of Easter Seals Central Texas, said, “With a growing disability community, the need is even greater for a facility such as the LIFE Center, and our goal is to enable children and adults with disabilities to live as healthy of a life as possible and to achieve their full potential.”
The LIFE Center is located at 8505 Cross Park Dr., #120.
