RED Arena (Riding Equines for the Disabled) held its annual Round-Up event on May 30 in Dripping Springs to provide scholarships for its participants. Sixty riders participated in rodeo-style events, with over 300 people in attendance.

“We feel incredibly grateful that the sun came out for us. This event means so much to all the riders and their families,” said Jennifer Young, physical therapist, founder and executive director of RED Arena.

A portion of funds raised will be allocated to horse care, but the bulk of money raised will go to scholarships. RED Arena offers full scholarships to military veterans and families experiencing financial hardships.
