The Land of Nod is recalling 1,500 iron sleigh, petal and picket bed frames because the openings in the headboard and footboard pose an entrapment hazard to young children. Affected units were sold at Land of Nod retail stores or online at landofnod.com from May 2008 to June 2012 for between $450 and $550 for the twin size or between $550 and $650 for the full size. Consumers should contact The Land of Nod to return the bed for a merchandise credit for the full purchase price.

The Children’s Place is recalling 38,000 one-piece footed pajamas because the pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard to children, and do not meet the tight-fitting sizing requirements. Affected units were sold at The Children’s Place stores nationwide and online at childrensplace.com from January 2012 through May 2013 for about $15. Consumers should return the pajamas to any The Children’s Place store for a full refund.

Hachette Book Group Inc. is recalling 70,000 children’s books titled “Count my Kisses, 1, 2, 3” and “Red, Green, Blue, I Love You” because a metal rod holding small beads on the cover of the books can detach and release small parts, presenting a choking hazard. A detached metal bar can also expose a sharp edge, posing a laceration hazard. Affected units were sold at Barnes & Noble, online at Amazon.com and by other booksellers and retailers from June 2013 to August 2013 for about $8. Consumers should return the books to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Toys R Us Inc. is recalling 12,650 Journey Girl travel trunks because the blue metal handle on the trunk can be sharp, presenting a laceration hazard to the user. Affected units were sold at Toys R Us stores nationwide and online at toysrus.com from October 2012 through February 2013 for about $30. Consumers should return the trunk to a Toys R Us store for a full refund or store credit.
