On December 15, the Hutto High School cheerleaders took top spots at competition, taking first in both varsity and junior varsity (JV) divisions of the National Cheer Association Texas Classic Championship.
The varsity squad won its division by 15 points – a considerable margin. Junior Varsity won its division against reigning champion Keller High School by just .33.
Varsity team members include: Angel Navarro, Anna Gatti, Ashley Luna, Austin Bayles, Bailey Trejo, Brianna Bayles, Devyn Gaswint, Karoline Frankeny, Kendall Shepherd, Kierstyn Brooks, Lauren Cochran, Madeline Reichardt, Marissa Chapa, Mary Minchew, Mikayla Batton, Molly Ormsbee and Zachary Brown.
JV team members include: Adrianna Garcia, Alyssa Luna, Amanda Combatti, Brianna Bayles, Brooklynn Crites, Emily Tejml, Gracie Bulgerin, Hannah Holmes, Isabella Juliano, Isai Benitez, Kali Alvarez, Kendall Shepherd, Madison Collins, Marcela Polanco, Riley Jansky and Sierra Ribsam.
