Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national non-profit developing better athletes and better people through youth and high school sports, recently launched PCA-Central Texas, the organization’s 16th PCA chapter in the U.S.

Led by Trennis Jones, the chapter’s Executive Director, PCA-Central Texas partners with local schools and youth organizations to bring a character-building sports experience to children ages 5-18.

“Positive Coaching Alliance could not be prouder of the group assembled to launch PCA-Central Texas,” said PCA Founder and CEO Jim Thompson. “We look forward to serving schools and youth sports organizations in and around Austin, San Antonio and many other communities through our live, group workshops for youth and high school sports coaches, parents, administrators and student-athletes. We are also proud to offer free online resources for those groups at www.PCADevZone.org, especially videos and podcasts featuring local notables, such as Kristine Lilly, Colt McCoy and Cat Osterman.”

Early adopters of PCA’s workshops, courses and free online resources include: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, Lake Travis Youth Association, Northwest Austin Youth Basketball, Northwest Little League, San Antonio ISD, Silver & Black Give Back (San Antonio Spurs youth basketball program) and West Austin Youth Association.
