To help high school students prepare for public service careers, the Travis County Emergency Services District Number 2 and the FirstIn Pfoundation are sponsoring three $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing a college degree. Qualified applicants must live in District 2 and attend Pflugerville, Hendrickson or Connally high schools. The application deadline is May 8. Visit pflugervillefire.org for more information.
