Round Rock High School senior and Dragon Band member Joseph Raby was selected for the 2014 Bands of America Honor Band. As a member of this ensemble, Raby will practice and perform in Music for All’s National Concert Band Festival March 6 through 8 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Raby auditioned in the fall with two trombone performances of contrasting musical styles. He competed against roughly 200 trombone players from across the country and is the only Round Rock ISD student selected to participate in the 2014 Bands of America Honor Band, Orchestra or Jazz ensembles.
