Communities In Schools (CIS) is currently accepting monetary donations for its annual school supply drive through July 29. The organization serves thousands of students on 63 elementary, middle school and high school campuses in Austin, Hays, Del Valle, Lockhart, Manor and IDEA school districts.
Officials say one $20 donation purchases a backpack and supplies for one student.
