On March 28, the Thinkery opens Space 8, a maker lab specifically designed for children ages 8 and up to use advanced tools and materials, learn new skills and transform ideas into tangible objects.
Space 8 encourages hands-on learning from sewing to soldering, woodworking to animations. Young makers are challenged to create individual or collaborative projects that deepen their understanding of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).
