Austin Children’s Shelter will hold its annual Touch-a-Truck event on May 7 at Camp Mabry. The family friendly event lets kids of all ages play on a variety of automobiles and learn how they help serve their communities. In addition to the vehicles, families can enjoy live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, face painting, barrel-train rides and more.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with early VIP entry at 9 a.m. Admission is $5 per person. A limited quantity of VIP admission tickets are available for $20 per person. For more information, visit safeaustin.org.
