Austin nonprofit Latinitas is seeking afternoon coaches and career presenters for its Startup Chica Conference on Saturday, Oct. 22. The conference will help Latinas ages 9-18 turn their ideas into businesses. The one-day conference will bring together young women, coaches and presenters from Austin’s tech and startup scenes with the end-of-day goal of pitching to judges.
Confirmed judges so far are Intel Americas, Inc. Distribution Marketing Manager Tiffany Tirres and Bridge Partners Consulting Executive Advisor Rebecca Gonzales. More to be announced soon. The public is invited to attend the girls’ pitch competition at 3 p.m.
