The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, sponsored in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, is accepting entries until Nov. 8, 2016. Hailed as the nation’s largest youth volunteer recognition program, the top national winners each receive $5,000, a medallion, a trophy for their nominating organization and a $5,000 Prudential Foundation grant for a charitable organization of their choice.
The program will also recognize 102 state honorees – two from each state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In addition, the program names 230 distinguished finalists. In May 217, the top 10 youth volunteers will be named “America’s Top 10 Youth Volunteers.”
