Camp is offered for girls and boys age 8 to 14 with no prior riding experience necessary. Children are divided into riding groups based on their riding skill level.

Beginners receive a good foundation from which to continue their riding experience, and more advanced riders have the opportunity to improve their skills.

Rio Vista Farm camp offers small enrollment, well-qualified camp instructors, daily riding LESSONS and excellent record for safety and satisfaction. 

Campers are assigned their own horse for the week and share in the care of the horse with a partner.

Campers learn to be responsible for the daily care, grooming, and well-being of “their horse”. Camp horses and ponies are well-schooled animals that are used in our year-round lesson program.

Stabling may be arranged for those who own their own horse.
