“If you somehow positively affect one child and they get a sense of self and confidence or even just happiness, and they bring that back to their family and their school, camp can affect millions of people.” – YMCA of Austin Camp Counselor
YMCA of Austin Summer Day Camps offer children safe, exciting, and memory-making day camp experiences.
At YMCA day camps, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation. Best of all, you can be assured your kids are having fun in a friendly, caring, and safe environment.
This summer, the YMCA of Austin will offer 22 camps across Travis, Hays and Bastrop Counties and include Kinder, Theme, Sports, and Adventure Camps. All camps will offer swimming, field trips, games, crafts, and character development activities. Camps will operate from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm at designated schools, churches, and YMCA facilities.
Activities are designed to build and reinforce the YMCA of Austin’s character development values (Respect, Responsibility, Honest, Faith, and Caring) and the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets.
Fees are weekly, and financial assistance is available to all families on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration begins Monday, February 8th.

Offered at a number of convenient locations throughout Williamson County, all of our summer camps run weekdays from when school lets out for the year (May-June) to when it begins anew (Aug.).
