Optional activities include: horseback riding; climbing wall and ropes; paintball; lasertag; and gun safety (BB target practice).
Facilities include: junior olympic swimming pool, 100 ft. waterslide, covered riding arena with viewing bleachers (no rainouts), rock wall and ropes challenge course, ?Screamer,? indoor/outdoor soccer field, miniature golf course, playscape, petting zoo, gaga ball pits, four-square courts, kickball fields, tennis courts, basketball court, and dance pavilion. Campers spend most of the day outdoors and in the water, so there are numerous shaded pavilions throughout the campus. Counselors are diligent about ensuring campers are hydrated at the beginning, middle, and end of each of the seven periods during the day.
With free transportation from 13 different pick up points from South Austin to Cedar Park, it is convenient for parents and fun for campers as they experience the “coolest bus rides in Texas.”
Every Saturday from April through August, Camp Doublecreek holds an open house from 10 a.m. – noon. Prospective campers and parents can tour the campus, obtain important information, ask questions and raise any concerns.
Camp Doublecreek allows campers the opportunity to experience a fundamental family atmosphere while developing physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Since 1971, generations of campers have made great memories and lasting friendships. Our exceptional friendly and caring staff fulfill
Doublecreek’s mission that “every camper leaves at the end of the day knowing someone believes in them.
