A non-profit’s wish list often includes things like renovating a park or neighborhood rec center, removing graffiti or sprucing up a facility. Unfortunately, many groups lack the funds and manpower to complete their “dream project.”
But Thumbtack–an online service that connects consumers with local skilled pros–is giving away up to $25,000 and a team of Austin area pros to complete a project for one lucky non-profit.
Thumbtack will select three finalists based on mission, impact and feasibility. Those finalists will compete for votes in a contest on social media. Then, Thumbtack will spend up to seven days completing the winner’s project with the help of their Austin area pros.
