To recognize Global Youth Service Day on April 20, students at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School performed various acts of service, including making bird feeders, planting seeds and making snack packs for the Central Texas Food Bank. This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Global Youth Service Day, which is celebrated in more than 135 countries. The theme of this year’s event was “Be Fearless, Be Kind.”
