On March 5, the University of Texas at Austin hosts Explore UT, a free, day long event that invites Texans of all ages to experience robust research experiences, hands-on demonstrations and experiments.
Explore UT seeks to broaden the horizons of students and motivate them toward achieving higher education after high school. It seeks to help parents and teachers encourage the excitement of learning and discovery, and welcomes alumni to reconnect with the institution that prepared them for their careers.
The traditional finale to Explore UT is a “class photo” taken at the Main Mall. After the photo, there will be free Amy’s Ice Cream (while supplies last) compliments of the University Federal Credit Union.
