For the fifth year, Girl Scouts from Walnut Creek/Delco-Simond honored their local firefighters. The girls, who ranged in age from the youngest Daisies to the oldest Seniors and Ambassadors, served dinner and expressed their appreciation in the days around September 11.
“We are so proud of our Girl Scouts,” said Jennifer Jones, a volunteer with the organization.
