Compassionate Austin is encouraging everyone in Central Texas to take part in the 2016 Compassion Games. The games are part of a global effort to inspire kindness around the world.
From Sept. 11 to Sept. 21, the games aim to offer fun and creative ways to promote compassionate action in local communities. Individuals and teams can challenge each other to perform acts of service. Organizers say that since 2012, players of the Compassion Games have served over 1,500,000 people in 34 countries by more than 400,000 volunteer players.
