Renaissance-Austin, a local independent and assisted living senior community, celebrated National Grandparents Day by opening its doors to area students for a fun-filled morning of building foam glider airplanes and encouraging cross-generational connections.
National Grandparents Day offers a dedicated day annually for grandchildren to connect with their grandparents and enjoy quality time together. Younger generations help reignite a youthful spark, while older generations offer wisdom from years of “been there, done that.”
