Round Rock ISD students can continue learning and reading during the summer at libraries across the district and in the City of Round Rock.

Ten district libraries will be open on select days until August. Additionally, the Round Rock Public Library will now issue library cards to all residents of Round Rock, including residents who live outside the City of Round Rock taxing district.

“Round Rock ISD encourages students to read as much as possible over the summer,” said Carlyn Gray, RRISD director of library services. “Access to reading materials at these libraries will hopefully make this possible.”

RRISD students can check out books at any school library, and books must be returned to the issuing campus. Parents and students should also check the campus and city library websites for a list of other activities planned during the selected hours.
