The Austin Yacht Club’s Summer Sailing Camp will provide a unique summer sailing experience for kids ages 8-16. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm with early drop-off and late pick-up options. Sailors will learn how to sail small sailboats like Optis, Picos, Flying Juniors, and even have the opportunity to windsurf. They will make new friends as they share the learning experience on and off the water. As the week progresses, lessons ramp up to develop skills for sailboat racing.

The PB&J Summer Sailing is the perfect introduction to sailing for kids ages 5-8. Each session of PB&J is four weekly lessons that are 90 minutes long. The goal is to get young children comfortable on the water and in the boat to spark a life-long interest in sailing. Lessons are simple, safe, and fun so the young sailors can learn basics through games and hands-on learning.
